Cathy Deng

Cathy Deng is a Partner at IPO Pang Shenjun Law Firm with over 15 years of experience as a practising attorney. Her practice focuses on intellectual property, labour law, civil litigation and corporate law. Ms. Deng advises corporations on compliance with Chinese regulations covering environmental protection, food and drug safety, and labour. She has substantial experience working with Chinese authorities and local government in Shanghai, and has acted in a significant volume of anti-counterfeiting work in the intellectual property field. She has also litigated a large number of employment and labour cases and advises Chinese companies on general corporate matters. Her regulatory practice includes representing foreign companies on regulatory matters in Shanghai, Hunan, Beijing and Guangzhou. She is a graduate of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where she majored in intellectual property law.
